EWOR Launches $68M Founder Fellowship for European Entrepreneurs
News Summary
EWOR, short for ‘entrepreneurship without risk’, has introduced a new ‘founder fellowship’ program with a significant fund of $68 million (€60 million). This initiative is designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs in Europe by offering €500,000 in capital for a 7% equity stake. The fellowship aims to nurture ‘visionaries, technical prodigies, deeply driven operators, and serial entrepreneurs’ by providing resources such as 1:1 mentorship, access to 2,000 mentors, VCs, and subject matter experts. The fellowship is virtual-first, enabling participants to benefit from remote guidance and support. Founded in 2021 by six entrepreneurs, EWOR distinguishes itself by focusing on both ideation and traction phases, allowing entrepreneurs to start at any stage, whether they have a co-founder or idea or not. The program’s alumni have raised between €1 million and €11 million during their fellowship. The initiative surpasses similar programs like Harry Stebbings’ ‘Project Europe’, which offers smaller funding and equity stakes.
