Tim Hortons and FLO to Roll Out EV Chargers at 100 Canadian Locations by 2028
News Summary
Tim Hortons has announced a strategic partnership with Quebec City-based electric vehicle company FLO to install fast EV chargers at 100 restaurant locations across Canada by the end of 2028. The initiative aims to make Tim Hortons the largest restaurant provider of public fast EV chargers in Canada. The first location equipped with FLO’s chargers is already operational in Regina, Saskatchewan, with plans for 13 more by the end of the year, and a total of 50 by 2026. The FLO Ultra chargers can deliver up to 120km of range in just 10 minutes and are integrated with a companion mobile app for easy operation. This project is supported by a $235 million investment from the Canada Infrastructure Bank, which will help FLO roll out more than 1,900 public fast charging ports across Canada.
