Pinksky, a new app offering an Instagram-like experience, has launched its Android version. Built on the Bluesky social network, Pinksky allows users to share photos and videos, focusing on user connections similar to classic Instagram. Developed by Ramon Souza, the app leverages Bluesky’s AT Protocol, allowing integration with existing social networks. Initially available on iOS, Pinksky aims to attract users interested in photo-sharing rather than viral content. The app’s future developments may include integration with other open technologies like Mastodon and Nostr, pending user interest and a viable business model.
