Brave, the browser maker and Google Search alternative, has introduced a new feature to its AI-powered search suite, Ask Brave. This feature is designed to provide detailed, contextually relevant answers to queries, alongside its existing AI Answers feature which offers quick summaries. Ask Brave can deliver longer responses, follow-ups, and a chat mode with deep research capabilities. The answers are presented in a report format with links, videos, and image carousels, and users can interact with the AI chatbot for further inquiries. Brave emphasizes privacy, stating that users’ chats are encrypted and deleted after 24 hours of inactivity.
