Endeavor Catalyst Raises $300M to Support High-Growth Startups in Emerging Markets
News Summary
Endeavor Catalyst, the co-investment fund affiliated with the global entrepreneurial network Endeavor Global, is raising a $300 million fund, its largest yet, to support high-growth startups across Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. This new fund, the fifth for the firm, aims to deepen investment in these regions despite current venture capital challenges. Endeavor Catalyst, formed in 2012, addresses growth-stage funding gaps in developing markets by investing in founders selected by the Endeavor Global network. It participates in equity rounds of at least $5 million, usually in Series A to C stages. The firm has already raised over $540 million across four funds and made more than 360 investments in 34 countries, including companies now valued at over $1 billion. Prominent investors and founders such as Bill Ford, Bill Ackman, Michael Dell, and Reid Hoffman back the fund.
