Amazon has announced the development of AI-powered smart glasses designed to enhance the efficiency and safety of delivery drivers. These glasses use augmented reality and AI technology to assist drivers by overlaying delivery details directly into their field of vision. The glasses can detect packages, provide turn-by-turn navigation, and capture proof of delivery. They are paired with a vest featuring a controller and an emergency button for added safety. The glasses are also equipped with a swappable battery and can be customized with prescription lenses.
