Toronto Tech Week to Return in 2026 with Expanded Events
News Summary
Toronto Tech Week is set to return from May 25 to May 29, 2026, following a successful debut in June this year. The event, organized by a volunteer-run, non-profit organization, will include the flagship Homecoming event. The inaugural Toronto Tech Week attracted over 15,000 attendees to more than 300 events across the city, matching the attendance of Web Summit Vancouver. The upcoming edition aims to offer more events, increased participation, and greater value for the tech ecosystem. Key figures in the organization include Mellonie Truong and Julia Konefal as co-directors, with support from Golden Ventures’ Ameet Shah, Daybreak Studio’s Taha Hossain, BetaKit board chair Satish Kanwar, and BetaKit CEO Siri Agrell. Notable events from the first Toronto Tech Week included discussions with Shopify CEO Tobi Lütke and Waabi chief Raquel Urtasun. Interested participants are encouraged to subscribe to Toronto Tech Week’s newsletter for updates.
