Over a corporate career spanning 33 years, I have held senior management positions in several large multinational corporations in the consumer goods and food industry, including Nike, Levis, TGIF and others. But what many people don’t know about me is that I started my career after completing my MBA, in the financial services industry as an analyst. I progressed to investment banking and along the way also experienced commercial banking and stock trading. I returned to financial services when I immigrated to Canada, and became a financial and investment advisor. I also started my own business in 2010, and in 2022 transitioned to work in it on a full-time basis.
I am very familiar with all aspects of business: strategy, marketing, operations and sales. I am equally familiar with the pains of financing a new venture, and all the nitty gritty of scaling an operation, and able to mentor and coach on these subjects.
Along the way, I acquired speaker training mainly to improve my own delivery and communication skills. This has blossomed into a skill set with which I now help other people – including training speakers at TEDxOshawa on a volunteer basis.
In addition to having my MBA, I am a certified Money Coach, Certified Transformational Trainer, and Certified Social Media Consultant.
