About

Shahkir Alkozai is an award winning Canadian entrepreneur and multi time startup founder currently serving as Co Founder of VolTrack, an automotive cybersecurity company dedicated to making modern vehicle theft both economically irrational and technically unfeasible. Under his leadership, VolTrack has developed a prevention first approach to automotive security, focusing on proactive immobilization, intelligent authentication, and software defined vehicle protection rather than traditional recovery based solutions. The company is actively incubating within leading Canadian innovation hubs, including the DMZ at Toronto Metropolitan University, Rogers Cybersecure Catalyst, Science Discovery Zone, Innovation Boost Zone, MAX Barakah Labs, and Y Space Mobility Catalyst, positioning it at the forefront of mobility, cybersecurity, and deep technology commercialization.

Beyond VolTrack, Shahkir has built and scaled multiple startups spanning hardware systems, fintech enabled models, education technology platforms, and consumer facing ventures. His experience extends from zero to one company formation through early validation, product market fit exploration, pilot deployments, and ecosystem backed growth. He has led initiatives across product architecture, embedded hardware integration, software development coordination, go to market strategy, channel partnerships, and enterprise sales, often operating simultaneously across technical, operational, and strategic layers of execution.

Shahkir works closely with accelerators, government programs, trade missions, original equipment manufacturer stakeholders, insurance partners, and early stage investors throughout Canada. His ventures have engaged with corporate innovation leaders, mobility executives, and ecosystem builders to validate technology, secure strategic introductions, and prepare for large scale commercialization. He is particularly recognized for his ability to translate complex technical concepts such as vehicle network security, automotive authentication systems, and embedded cybersecurity into clear business cases that resonate with non technical stakeholders, investors, and policy leaders.

Operating at the intersection of deep technology and disciplined execution, Shahkir combines technical literacy with commercialization strategy. He prioritizes structured experimentation, stakeholder mapping, regulatory awareness, and scalable business model design to ensure ventures are built not only with innovation at their core, but with strong market viability and defensibility.

Based in Toronto, he remains deeply engaged in Canada’s startup and innovation ecosystem, actively collaborating with founders, operators, investors, mentors, and ecosystem partners. His work reflects a long term commitment to building globally competitive Canadian technology companies that solve real world infrastructure and security challenges.
