Roshni Wijayasinha is a seasoned marketer with 19+ years of marketing experience, bringing brands, products and companies to market across a variety of industries such as technology, healthcare and financial services. She started her career on the agency side on the first Interactive Media team (now Digital Marketing) at Cossette Communications Group, then worked at leading global tech giants like Microsoft and Sony before falling in love with startups for their speed, agility, innovation and culture. Having helped both Thinking Capital and Benecaid exit with nine figure valuations, building their marketing from ground up as their VP of Marketing, Roshni then started Prosh Marketing, a consulting practice where her and over 145 Fractional CMOs and Fractional Marketing Directors help startups and scaleups to grow exponentially with part-time and on demand marketing leadership and consulting. As a Fractional CMO herself, she’s helped several businesses create a marketing infrastructure that scales efficiently and is passionate about sharing her processes, models and experience with others. Roshni is an EIR and mentor at a number of incubators and accelerators across Canada, United States and Europe, teaches Startup Marketing in the Masters of Management program at the Schulich School of Business, writes for the Forbes Communications Council (where you can find her advice and tips on marketing matters), is a Limited Partner at Position Ventures, and is an angel investor with The Firehood, investing in female founded technology businesses.
