Motivated to address the systemic healthcare challenges that women must navigate with minimal support, Dr. Rina Carlini founded and launched Healthyher.Life in 2024 — an AI-guided women’s hormonal health care navigator platform that opens access to trusted health solutions and 24/7 personalized patient support. Healthyher.Life offers its platform-as-a-service to women’s health integrated clinics across North America. The AI femtech startup will launch a seed financing round of US $750 K beginning in Q3/2026.
Dr. Rina Carlini is an accomplished technology business leader with over 25+ year professional career working across life sciences, digital health, AI and nanotechnology sectors. Her credentials include Ph.D. Gold Medal Award from University of Waterloo, and was recognized as the 2017 Science Alumni of Honour Award. She earned executive certificates in Business Model Innovation (Harvard), AI for Business Strategy (MIT) and is the inventor of over 100 patents. Following a long and rewarding career as Principal Scientist & Head of Nanotechnology at Xerox, Dr. Carlini launched Optimal Innovation Group consulting in 2012, supporting digital health and sustainable technology ventures. She held several executive roles as CEO of Haltech Innovation Center, President of Cloud DX, and VP Innovation at Rapid Dose Therapeutics. Dr. Carlini also served on several distinguished advisory boards, including Concordia University’s Gina Cody School of Engineering, the Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology, NSERC and Ontario Health Technology Advisory Committee, among others.
