Richard Meng

Richard Meng is a finance-driven entrepreneur, fractional CFO, and co-founder of MyDreamFinance (MDF), a boutique advisory firm supporting fast-growing Canadian SMEs through financial strategy, capital raising, and operational excellence. As a serial CFO, Richard has served as CFO of Biyork Canada & US and as a fractional CFO for CPG brands, healthcare manufacturers, and e-commerce businesses.

He brings deep experience across manufacturing, e-commerce, distribution, and wholesale, advising companies from early-stage startups to enterprises exceeding $100M+ in revenue. His expertise spans financial advisory, valuation, capital structure design, cross-border operations, ERP implementation, and both equity and debt financing.

Richard began his career in investment banking at FirePower Capital and has since provided CFO leadership to high-growth companies, while also co-founding ventures in consumer goods and international trade. He has guided founders through due diligence, independent third-party valuation, corporate financing, and strategic growth planning.
