During his career, Nicholas has worked across different industries in various roles, which has given him a vast perspective on businesses, from early-stage start-ups to large enterprises. Currently, Nicholas is also a Startup Coach at District 3, Concordia University, helping entrepreneurs navigate the complex early-stage business journey.

Over the last 8 years, Nicholas was also a start-up consultant and business coach at The Refinery (early-stage venture advisory firm), which had global operations in Canada, USA and Europe. During this time, Nicholas worked with 250+ entrepreneurs overcoming the challenges in building a scalable business and raising funds from investors.

Prior to this, Nicholas was a market analyst and researcher for Bell Canada (telecommunications) and bioMerieux (laboratory diagnostics). He worked in sponsorship, sales and marketing at Integrated Sports Management (sports broadcasting), and later in operations, finance and human resources at Research On Investment (government investment attraction).

His passion for personal finance mixed with his curiosity to learn and teach others makes him a valued presenter and educator in the industry.
