He also serves as Manager, IT Operations and Incident Management at TMX Group, bringing decades of experience in critical infrastructure, incident management, Linux systems, DevOps, and production operations.
Mike’s background spans financial services, telecommunications, enterprise software, and internet infrastructure, including prior roles with organizations such as BMO, BlackBerry, Tucows, SAP Triversity, Cirba, and major ISP/backbone environments. He has worked across high-pressure operational systems where reliability, accountability, escalation discipline, and defensible decision-making are essential.
Through AI Syndicate, Mike is building governance infrastructure for organizations adopting AI in regulated or operationally sensitive environments. His work is grounded in the belief that AI systems, human approvals, and applications should be treated as inputs, while enforcement must reside in deterministic control planes that preserve evidence and constrain execution.
