I’m Mariam Oyinloye, the founder of ABIMBOLA, an eco-friendly menstrual care brand based in Toronto. Growing up in Toronto provided me with firsthand experiences of the challenges many face regarding menstrual equity and environmental sustainability. These formative experiences have significantly shaped my passion for community empowerment and social justice, guiding me to develop products that not only address menstrual health but also reduce environmental impact.
My academic and professional journey has been rooted in community advocacy, environmental education, and sustainability. Through my educational background and community work, I’ve gained valuable insights and expertise that equipped me to establish ABIMBOLA. With our products, I aim to increase accessibility, reduce period poverty, and promote sustainable menstrual health practices.
ABIMBOLA is more than just a brand; it’s a commitment to positive change and community wellness. I strive to create awareness about menstrual health, challenge stigmas, and advocate for environmentally friendly alternatives in menstrual care. My goal is to empower individuals by providing sustainable, accessible menstrual products and promoting open conversations about menstrual health
Beyond product development, my mission includes raising awareness about menstrual health, challenging social stigmas, and advocating for inclusive conversations about menstrual care. I actively collaborate with local communities and organizations to amplify our impact and drive meaningful change.
Every day, I’m driven by a profound commitment to blending social responsibility with innovative, eco-conscious solutions. My vision for ABIMBOLA is to inspire and facilitate healthier communities and a more sustainable environment, ensuring menstrual care is equitable, accessible, and environmentally responsible for.
