Maleek JAmal

Dr. Maleek Jamal is a serial healthcare entrepreneur who has founded, scaled and exited technology companies focused on medical error measurement and management; healthcare worker burnout and culture measurement and improvement; and change activation [think Trello for healthcare]. Notably, Maleek’s last two companies grew without debt or dilution achieving significant cash flows through to the exit process. As a board member, he invests in and advises companies focused on AI-driven radiology imaging; AI-driven disease detection and amelioration; AI-driven solutions for healthcare worker recruitment and innovative new exercise products for older adults.

Prior to his pursuing his passion for entrepreneurship, Maleek sated his curiosity and passion for problem solving at The Boston Consulting Group. Here he worked at the Henderson Strategy Institute where he helped Fortune 100 companies and governments understand how to understand and position forces of change in technology and disruption in their business models. His clients included Jaguar, Zara, Pfizer, NVIDIA, Tesla, Bharat Forge, Walmart and LVMH.

Prior, Maleek discovered how a novel gene product [now licensed as “Exsulin”] regenerates insulin-producing beta cells in the adult human pancreas as a potential therapy for diabetes during his doctoral studies in the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. He performed this research at the prestigious Montreal Genome Center.
