I’m Kyle Maloney, founder of Challengr Fitness and owner of a long-standing retail furniture store in Cornwall, Ontario. While running a successful family business has been a rewarding journey, fitness has always been my personal passion. My friends and I have been competing in fitness challenges for years, relying on spreadsheets and group texts to stay organized. It worked—sort of—but I knew there had to be a better way.
That’s where the idea for Challengr Fitness came from. I teamed up with two longtime friends I’ve known since our minor hockey days, and together we set out to build something better. We wanted a platform that made fitness fun, competitive, and social—without the hassle of manual tracking. With Challengr Fitness, users can create custom fitness challenges, invite friends, and track progress through leaderboards, chat features, and shared updates—all in one easy-to-use app.
Launching this app has been an exciting venture, combining my entrepreneurial spirit with my love for fitness. I believe fitness should be accessible, motivating, and most importantly, enjoyable. The best workouts happen when you’re inspired by friends and driven by friendly competition.
I’m passionate about building communities that motivate and support one another. In my experience, fitness is more fun when shared, and competition can be a powerful motivator. Challengr Fitness isn’t just an app—it’s a way to connect, compete, and become the best version of yourself while having fun along the way. My goal is to create something that inspires people to stay active, push their limits, and strengthen both their bodies and relationships.
