Kartavi Shah

Kartavi is a builder in Canada’s innovation ecosystem with an engineering background and an MBA. She founded NextGen Founders Lab, a venture studio where high school students work with real mentors and launch real startups through structured experimentation. She previously served as a fund manager with the UCeed Haskayne Student Fund, leading due diligence and investment decisions on early stage companies. She also strengthens Alberta’s presence in the national South Asian entrepreneurship landscape by convening influential investors and partners. Her work sits at the intersection of venture, talent development, and community building, shaping the next wave of Canadian founders.
