Jordan Vanriel, BEng (Mechanical Engineering): 5+ years of mechatronics and product development experience at a 3D printing startup. What makes our company unique is that we want to revolutionise this space by leveraging biofeedback to achieve alignment, not just within an individual but across communities.
In order to do so, the first tool we are developing at SOCH is a hardware device designed to serve as “training wheels” for mindfulness and meditation. The device is Medisun, an meditation lamp, which is interfaced with biofeedback sensors that allow users to better visualize and synchronize their meditation, both on their own and when practicing in community settings.
