Samsung has invested in Memories.ai, a video AI startup that aims to enhance the processing and analysis of vast amounts of video footage. The startup, co-founded by Dr. Shawn Shen and Enmin (Ben) Zhou, has developed a platform capable of analyzing up to 10 million hours of video. This technology is particularly beneficial for marketing and security companies, providing tools for searchable indexing, tagging, and data aggregation. Memories.ai recently raised $8 million in a seed funding round led by Susa Ventures, with Samsung Next and other investors participating. The funding will help expand its team and improve its search capabilities. The company plans to enable easier content synchronization for customers and envisions future applications in training humanoid robots and enhancing self-driving cars.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
