Blue Lagoon Resources Inc. has announced the official opening of its Dome Mountain Gold Mine project in British Columbia, marking a significant milestone in the province’s mining industry. The Dome Mountain property, located 50 minutes from Smithers, covers an area of approximately 22,000 hectares and is one of only nine mining permits granted in the region over the past decade. The facility features a two-stage water treatment system, including a High-Density Sludge circuit and a Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) circuit, which removes blasting-related ammonia and nitrates. This development sets the stage for pre-production work and positions the mine to begin operations soon, with an estimated recovery of 15,000 ounces of gold per year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
