Gev Marotz, a former Wealthsimple product design lead, has introduced a new model for UI, UX, and brand development through his fractional design studio, Gev Design. Targeting fast-moving tech startups, this studio offers an innovative approach by embedding senior talent early in the process without the high costs associated with hiring full-time staff or traditional agencies. The studio focuses on product clarity and speed, integrating directly with founding teams to shape product, brand, and user experience. Gev Design has successfully collaborated with notable startups like TechTO, Syzl, and Blitzy. For TechTO, the studio modernized its brand and website, ensuring it reflected both the roots and future aspirations of the community. Syzl, akin to ‘Airbnb for kitchens,’ benefited from a brand and product reset to better serve food entrepreneurs, while Blitzy, an AI-powered platform, received comprehensive design support to launch its core product efficiently. This fractional model is gaining traction beyond traditional sectors, with Marotz’s studio demonstrating its potential to drive significant impact in startup environments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
