A24 and director Alex Garland are set to bring a live-action adaptation of the acclaimed video game ‘Elden Ring’ to the big screen. The game, developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc., has achieved significant success, selling over 30 million copies and winning multiple Game of the Year awards. Garland, known for his work on films like ‘Ex Machina’, ‘Annihilation’, and ‘Civil War’, will helm the project. This marks a significant venture for A24, which has primarily focused on lower-budget indie films. The movie aims to capture the dark fantasy world and challenging combat encounters that define the ‘Elden Ring’ experience, with George R.R. Martin, who contributed to the game’s world-building, attached as a producer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
