The British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Mott Electric have announced the establishment of the new Mott Electric Pavilion at the BCIT Burnaby Campus. This facility aims to enhance access to electrical apprenticeship training, adding over 250 new seats annually. Supported by a $2 million donation from Mott Electric and its president Dan Mott, an alumnus of BCIT, the pavilion will provide hands-on training in renewable energy, robotics, and automated controls. This initiative addresses the increasing demand for skilled tradespeople in British Columbia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
