This latest investment brings Brinc’s total funding to $157.2 million. The startup, known for its development of drone systems for police and public safety agencies, was last valued at $300 million in 2023. The funding round also included participation from Motorola Solutions, with whom Brinc is forming a strategic alliance. The partnership aims to integrate Brinc’s drones into 911 call centers, allowing for the dispatch of drones in certain emergency situations. This collaboration is part of a broader trend of U.S. drone startups manufacturing domestically due to increasing restrictions against Chinese companies. Despite the competition from other U.S. startups like Flock Safety and Skydio, Resnick believes there is ample room for growth in the market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Brinc Drones, a Seattle-based startup founded by 25-year-old Blake Resnick, has successfully raised $75 million in a new funding round led by Index Ventures.
