A new AI-driven weather prediction system named Aardvark Weather has been developed, offering a breakthrough in forecasting technology. This system is capable of delivering accurate weather forecasts tens of times faster and with significantly less computing power compared to conventional systems. The research, published in Nature and conducted by institutions such as the University of Cambridge and the Alan Turing Institute, highlights the potential for Aardvark to democratize weather forecasting globally. By training AI on raw data from weather stations and satellites, Aardvark can quickly provide bespoke forecasts for industries and locations. This marks a shift from traditional systems that require supercomputers and large teams of researchers, making Aardvark a transformative tool in predicting weather for both developed and developing countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
