Ati Motors, an Indian-based autonomous mobile robots (AMR) startup, announced a successful $20 million Series B funding round. The funding aims to support Ati Motors\u2019 global expansion, particularly in North America. Co-led by Walden Catalyst Ventures and NGP Capital, the funding also included participation from existing investors like True Ventures and Exfinity Venture Partners. Ati Motors, founded in 2017, has developed robots equipped with 3D lidar sensors for spatial awareness, allowing them to operate in challenging environments. These robots are deployed across 40 manufacturers, including notable names like Airbus and Hyundai, with the majority of customers based in the automobile industry. The company’s unique robots-as-a-service (RaaS) model allows clients to lease or purchase their AMRs. This funding comes as part of India’s broader strategy to become a global leader in robotics by 2030, capitalizing on the growing demand for domestic manufacturing solutions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
