During CES 2025, accessory company Genki showcased a 3D-printed mockup of what they claimed to be the Nintendo Switch 2. This presentation led to Nintendo’s legal team visiting Genki’s booth, as reported by French tech journalist Julien Tellouck. Genki clarified that they had no formal agreement with Nintendo, such as a non-disclosure agreement, and thus were not legally bound by confidentiality rules. Despite the display causing a stir, with many attendees comparing the mockup’s size to existing devices, Nintendo later stated that the images and videos presented by Genki were not official. Genki subsequently withdrew previous claims about having seen the Nintendo Switch 2, initially stating they had access to units from the black market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
