Nomada Studio, the Spanish developer known for its acclaimed game Gris, has released its new emotionally-driven title, Neva. The game has received widespread praise for its evocative storytelling and art style, capturing the tender bond between a young woman, Alba, and her wolf companion, Neva. The game, which spans four seasons and features a minimalist aesthetic, has been nominated for multiple awards at The Game Awards, winning the ‘Games for Impact’ category. In an interview with MobileSyrup, Adrian Cuevas, co-founder and technical director of Nomada Studio, discussed the conceptualization and development of Neva. The game was initially planned with two human characters, but the team chose to depict the parent-child bond through an animal-human relationship, allowing for broader audience resonance. Cuevas highlighted the technical challenges in creating a lifelike AI companion and the studio’s commitment to delivering a game that they are proud of. As Nomada Studio embarks on new projects, they continue to focus on creating meaningful and artful gaming experiences, driven by their passion rather than external expectations. Neva is available on multiple platforms, including PS4, Xbox Series X\/S, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Mac.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
