Vapi, an AI voice startup founded by Jordan Dearsley and Nikhil Gupta, has achieved a $500 million valuation following a successful partnership with Amazon Ring. The startup, which provides infrastructure for AI voice agents, was chosen by Ring over 40 competitors to manage its customer support calls. This collaboration has significantly improved Ring’s customer satisfaction scores and contributed to Vapi’s $50 million Series B funding round led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Microsoft’s M12, Kleiner Perkins, and Bessemer Venture Partners. Vapi, which emerged from a pivot from an AI therapist product, now handles over 1 billion calls through its platform and serves enterprise clients such as Kavak, Instawork, and Intuit. The company plans to expand its engineering and go-to-market teams with the new funding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
