Wing, the drone delivery startup originally incubated at Google’s X, The Moonshot Factory, has announced the expansion of its service to the Bay Area, marking a return to its roots where it initially started delivering office supplies across Google’s Mountain View campus. With this expansion, Bay Area residents can now receive groceries, food, and other small packages within 30 minutes. The company has been growing its presence across the US, adding 150 Walmart locations in cities like Los Angeles, St. Louis, Cincinnati, and Miami to its service areas. Wing has also extended its operational hours in Charlotte and Dallas-Fort Worth after securing approval from the Federal Aviation Administration, and is considering further markets such as Orlando and Tampa.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
