Apple is preparing to unveil a new low-cost MacBook model, potentially named the ‘MacBook Neo’, according to various leaks and reports. The name was accidentally revealed through a regulatory posting on Apple’s website, which was quickly removed. The MacBook Neo is expected to feature Apple’s A-series mobile chips, differentiating it from the M-series hardware in its current lineup of laptops and desktops. The new model is rumored to have an all-metal case with a variety of colors, reminiscent of Apple’s earlier iBook laptops but without the higher price tag. This move is seen as an attempt to attract users dissatisfied with Windows laptops. The announcement of the MacBook Neo is anticipated to occur during Apple’s week of spring announcements, which has already seen the release of the iPhone 17e, iPad Air M4, and updated MacBook Air and Pro models.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
