Oboe, a startup founded by former Spotify executives Nir Zicherman and Michael Mignano, has raised $16 million in Series A funding led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). The funding round also included participation from prominent investors such as Adam D\u2019Angelo and Garry Tan. The funds will be used to expand Oboe’s AI-driven course-generation platform, which allows users to set a learning goal and have AI create a customized course. The platform initially launched in September and has been well-received for its ability to quickly generate content without making users wait. Oboe is enhancing its platform to generate comprehensive course modules, including quizzes and flashcards, and is revamping its pricing model to offer unlimited course generation. The startup plans to expand its offerings globally by introducing localized courses and language support.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
