Mappa, an AI-powered behavioral intelligence startup, has introduced a novel approach to streamline the hiring process by using voice pattern analysis to identify candidate traits such as communication style, empathy, and confidence. Founded in 2023 by Sarah Lucena, Pablo B\u00e9rgolo, and Daniel Moretti, and backed by Draper Associates, the company has raised $3.4 million in seed funding. Mappa’s innovative platform has attracted over 130 customers in the U.S. and generates more than $4 million in annualized recurring revenue. The technology offers a significant advantage in reducing employee turnover from the industry standard of 30% to just 2% among its hires. Furthermore, Mappa has facilitated over 3,000 hires, with a significant portion being women, LGBTQ+, or immigrants, showcasing the platform’s impact on equitable hiring. The startup plans to evolve into an infrastructure provider, with its API being utilized beyond hiring, including by investors like Tim Draper and educational platforms like Re-Skilling.ai.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
