Kaz Nejatian, formerly the COO of Shopify, has taken over as CEO of Opendoor and is building out the company’s leadership with former Shopify executives. Giang LeGrice, previously Shopify’s VP of operations, has joined Opendoor to lead operations. Nejatian has described LeGrice as a ‘world-class leader’ and his ‘second-in-command’ at Shopify. This move follows the appointment of former Shopify product manager Fahd Ananta, who joined Opendoor to lead the buyer side of the company. Nejatian has expressed plans to establish an Opendoor office in Toronto. Additionally, Morgan Brown, formerly from Dropbox, has joined as the new chief growth officer, focusing on AI-driven growth and marketing. These strategic hires illustrate Opendoor’s emphasis on leadership with proven track records in tech and innovation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
