He will be succeeded by Gustav S\u00f6derstr\u00f6m, chief product and technology officer, and Alex Norstr\u00f6m, chief business officer, who will become co-CEOs. Ek emphasized that this change aligns with Spotify&#8217;s current operational structure, as S\u00f6derstr\u00f6m and Norstr\u00f6m have been leading strategic development and execution since 2023.
