Tesla has proposed a groundbreaking compensation package for its CEO, Elon Musk, that could make him the world’s first trillionaire. This package is contingent on Musk achieving ambitious performance targets over the next decade. The plan includes increasing Tesla’s market value from $1 trillion to $8.5 trillion and meeting operational milestones such as product delivery targets and adjusted Ebitda hurdles. The compensation would be awarded entirely in Tesla shares, based on performance metrics. The proposal is seen as a vote of confidence in Musk’s leadership, despite recent challenges including decreased European sales and his controversial political views. Shareholders will ultimately decide on the approval of this unprecedented pay deal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
